Poster and Demo Session
Presenters can set up their posters as early as 8:30am on July 24, 2009. There will be mobile poster boards in the IRMACS Atrium. The poster and demo session will take place from 10:45am to 12:15pm. Awards will be presented at 3:00pm.
About the Poster Session
The CECM invites faculty, students (both graduate and NSERC summer students) and postdoctoral fellows to participate in the poster session. The only requirement is that the poster has mathematics in it. It may be applied, pure, computational, or experimental mathematics. If you have already prepared a poster for a presentation at another scientific meeting this year, and you would like also to present it to members of the department, this is appropriate.
Up to four prizes (two $200 and two $100) will be awarded to students with the best posters. Judging criteria are based on 50% content and 50% presentation.
About the Demo Session
Students wishing to present a computer demo are responsible for arranging computer access. For more information, please email Marni Mishna. As there are no power outlets around the IRMACS Atrium, please ensure that you bring batteries with your laptop computers. Presenters can set up their laptop computers on the railing around the Atrium.

Poster abstracts must be emailed to Marni Mishna, or by using the online form, by Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
