Applied Calculus for the Managerial, Life and Social Sciences by Tan, Ashlock and Menz
We will cover most sections from Chapters 8 - 11, 13 and 14.
Content
- Chapter 8: Integration (6 lectures)
- Chapter 9: Additional Topics of Integration (6 lectures): Integration by parts, numerical integration,
improper integrals, tables of integrals and computers, and applications to business and economics.
- Chapter 10: Calculus of Several Variables (7 lectures): visual representation, partial derivatives,
critical points, tangent planes, least squares approximation, double integrals and applications.
- Chapter 11: Differential Equations (4 lectures)
- Chapter 13: Probability and Calculus (4 lectures)
- Chapter 14: Taylor Polynomials and Infinite Series (5 lectures)
